Cowtown Motorsports driver Brian Levant will be racing for the $7,777.77 in the 21st annual Las Vegas Open Comp super late model event at The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Saturday November 7th. The popular Calgary driver who finished second in points for the second consecutive year in the Mac's Super Late Model Series and scored a win in the last I Love Regina 150 at Kings Park Speedway in Regina, SK will be driving a team car for the 2009 Orange Show Speedway (San Bernardino, CA) super late model champion Mark Shackleford. The Las Vegas speedway web site is reporting that the event has entries from Arizona, California, Idaho, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, British Columbia and Alberta. The Super Late Model feature is 200 laps with a pit break scheduled at lap 100. The event winner will receive $7,777.77 and the race will pay $300 to start. Qualifying starts at 5:30pm on Friday and the Las Vegas Open Comp 200 goes on Saturday at 5:30pm. Come on Sevens! |
