Top 2 qualifiers were the #17 Greg Vangool and #33 Jamie McClennon out of 20 cars. Hope the local guys are happy with their rules now.

The top out of town car of Moir should have been much higher but the 17 flat smashed him going into to turn 3 on the way to the checkered flag, no penalty.

Car 54 hit everyone that passed him. At least he got the oh my god reaction and attention he was looking for from his friends, at the other racers expense.

Overall, a fun evening of racing.

To be fair to the 17 he would also have finished alot higher if he had not been taken out at the end.

The 07 got what he deserved at the end for blatantly running into the back of the 55 and spinning him midway through the race while exiting turn two.

In an ideal world where ACMS and the race director make the calls instead of abandoning responsibility and leaving it up to a blanket rule that sends anyone involved (at fault or not) to the back, the 55 would not have had to go to the back with the 07 midway through the race.

Late in the race, the 17 wrecked while trying to avoid the 00. The 14 accelerated through turn one and clipped the wrecking 17 in the third groove. The 00, 17 and 14 should all have gone to the back if the rules consistently reflected the call earlier in the race involving the 55. This would have made the 77 the race winner.

By making the 00 and 17 go to the back, but allowing the 14 to maintain position, this communicates to the fans that the 14 was less responsible for his contact than the 17 was in the same accident and less than the 55 was for his earlier in the race.
