Thanks to the 22 Dakota Dunes Casino Western Canadian Super Late Models that showed up to KICK OFF the Third Year for the Series. The Race was very good, a few ROOKIE mistakes that can and we are sure will be corrected moving forward. Special THANK YOU to our New Tech Director Devon Brown and Craig Melynk, Cliff Pompu RD, Andy Clewes Spotter Tower, Richard Woodvine Stats, Media & Press, for keeping things running smoothly. It looked like the 17 (Greg Vangool) sponsored AMEC , Seventy Seven Signs, SDS Systems had it all in the bag with some $$$$$ 2800.00. Coming out of corner 4 with 3 laps to go and THE REST IS RACE HISTORY, as it made for a great finish. Glen Hertzske 14 who has been having a great night was running strong then had the lead as Greg (17) needed to pit for a new tire. The checkered flag in the Interstate Batteries 150 and the cheque for $1800.00 goes to #14 Glen Hertzske. Drivers who would like to Race a little more and be part of the NASCAR Canadian Tire Two Day Event July 24 and the 25 are welcome. The local WSSL Auto Parts Super Late Model Division will be making a MAJOR announcement with Superseal Construction Products on Tuesday Night just prior to the start of their Special Feature. This announcement will be the BIGGEST News that has been announced for Super Late Model Racing in Canada. Final details, more news will be coming out very soon.
