In this age of e-scoring and timing, car number rules make no sense for touring series, invitational or open events. I can't imagine any Saskatoon race fan ever mixed up Lister and Gaunt. If both Emond and VanGool showed up in 17's, the fans would know the difference, or if Ken Ross, Dean Craig and I all showed up in 67's, would it really matter? These discussions are always messy. What would be confusing is if a local racer has a number, but a touring car registers that number first for the DD series, then the local car has to change numbers for the DD series when the points also count local?? Explain that one to the fans in the stands. Again, simple question - same as the other earlier "discussions", why was it necessary to mess with a succesful package and create issues where none existed??

Yes there has been rumours about a so called "Super Seal 200"....just waitin for herm to confirm this for the month september...and tim you comin to any races this year??

I might make September 15th - still have 3 races in Montana and some holidays, so the summer is pretty much shot.
